For Registered Users Only
Product Updates and Upgrades
On this page...
Registered users of CursorArts products are entitled to download these free programs to upgrade their software to the latest version. While minor upgrades are free to existing users, major upgrades are usually offered to registered users at substantial discounts on disk only. Please do not try to use an upgrade program to upgrade an unregistered copy. You must have already entered a legitimate serial number into the product in order for the upgrade to successfully install.
To update your CursorArts application, you should first locate your software's version number (listed in About, under the Help menu) to determine which upgrade program(s) you need to download. Download the needed update(s) from the list below. Do not uninstall your original software prior to obtaining and running the update program. Next, unzip the files (using FileWrangler, PKunzip, etc.) and place the files into the same directory folder which contains the software being upgraded. Finally, you must run the batch file or program as directed in the README.TXT file included inside the zip.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You cannot skip over updates (e.g., If you want to upgrade from version 2.0a to version 2.0d, you must upload and apply the upgrades for 2.0b and 2.0c before applying the upgrade for 2.0d). You must also apply each update in the order in which it was released (e.g., 2.0b, then 2.0c, then 2.0d). If you run the upgrades in the wrong order or skip an update, you will need to reinstall from your original disks and start over. Full instructions for running the update software are included in a README.TXT file inside each zip file.
If upgrading with these downloads seems too complex or time-consuming, you can obtain a current CD from this link. There is a $5.95 charge when sending a CD (you must use your product Serial Number in the Coupon Code field to ensure that you receive the correct CD). To Top
