Instructions for Downloading
You may download and use most CursorArts applications on a 20-days trial basis. To download an application, click on a highlighted link. This will cause your browser to retrieve the file from our FTP site. If you have a slower modem or if web traffic is particularly high, it may take some time to load the file to your system. If you are trying to download at a high traffic time, you should consider trying to download at a less busy time of day. These applications may also be downloaded from most major on-line libraries, including:
Once you have the application:
- If you downloaded an EXE file, move the file to a temporary folder, then use your file manager to run the EXE. This will extract the installation program files to the same folder.
- If you downloaded a ZIP file, use a such as our FileWrangler or free ZipWrangler (see below) to extract the installation program files.
- Once the files have been extracted, run the application's installation program (SETUP.EXE) and you will be ready to use the software.
If you haven't downloaded software from the internet before, you might want to use your browser's Print function to print a copy of these instructions. If you have trouble, please call CursorArts at +1 541-267-0284, or send e-mail to our technical support department.
