about IconForge and ActivIcons
Q: I am using Visual Basic 5 and want to place a multi-resolution icon into my program. But for some reason, I can only see the 32x32x16 icon once I compile the EXE. How can I have more than one icon in my EXE?
- It seems strange, but some VB versions do not read all of the images within a multiple-resolution .ico file. To place additional icons into your program, you need to use the VB resource editor. This is included on the CD for VB6. VB5 users can also go to Microsoft's site at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vbasic/downloads/ to download a copy of the resource editor. You can use this to import more icons into your project.
