Q: My eyesight is poor, and I wonder if there is a way to remove the texture on IconForge's tool bar to make things easier for me to see?

• In version 6.x, go to the Options menu, select Set Preferences, and under the Interface tab, deselect the Use Interface Pattern option (or alternatively, select a more pleasing background image). When you next run IconForge, the tool bars will be displayed with a plain background.
• In the version 7 series, you can choose from different skins by going to the Options menu, selecting Set Preferences, and then choosing a different skin file. Additional skins are posted here (these also work for recent versions of the ActivIcons utility.
